Mario Vergel

Mario Vergel is a teen bodybuilder from Miami. Training
for the past 3 years, Mario stands 5'10" tall and weighs
178 lbs. in contests and 205 lbs. in the off-season. He
has a 31" waist, 45" chest, 17" biceps and calves and
27" thighs. He competed in his first bodybuilding show,
the 2011 NPC South Florida District Championships, and
took 1st Place in the Heavyweight Teen Class. He is
skilled in martial arts (kempo karate) and played
baseball throughout high school. He is a nutritionist
who studied physical therapy in college. We photographed
Mario at the South Florida show in Hialeah, and are very
