Mario is a fitness model from New Jersey. He
played baseball his whole life. He was All-State in
high school and received a scholarship to play in
college. In college, he was All-American 3 years in
a row and signed out of college to play minor league
ball with the Catskill Cougars. After the Cougars
Mario also played with Chicago and St. Louis. After
getting shoulder surgery due to an injury, Mario
retired from the game and gave modeling a chance. He
had his first photo shoot at age 25 with David
Morgan in NYC and that landed him a job with Twin
Lab. He was a Ripped Fuel model for a year and was
in over 10 different magazines. In 2004 Mario did
his first and only bodybuilding show which was the
2004 NPC Muscle Beach Championships in New Jersey,
in which he placed 4th. Turning to fitness modeling,
Mario entered the 2007 WNBF-sponsored Mr. Fitness
Male Model Championships in NYC, where he placed
4th. In 2008, Mario again competed in the Mr.
Fitness, which is when we met Mario and, with the
help of NAB photographer Steve Roberts, and
photographed him. For the last 5 years Mario has
been involved with martial art, studying Aikido,
Brazilian Ju Jitsu and Muay Tai. The combo or all
three and his normal workouts keep him in great
shape all year. Mario is 5'11 tall and weighs 170
lbs. dieted down. We are very pleased to add Mario
