Joel Facchinello
 |
|
Joel Facchinello is 19 years old. He stands 6'2" tall
and has a contest weight of 195 lbs. His biceps measure
16.5", chest 46.5", waist 29.5", quads 25" and calves
16.5". Joel has been lifting weights for about 6 years.
He was thin and originally wanted to get bigger for
sports so he bought Arnold Schwarzenegger's Encyclopedia
of Bodybuilding when he was thirteen and began learning
what he could about training. Soon after that Joel quit
sports and focused on lifting for bodybuilding. He
steadily made progress over the next several years and
entered his first bodybuilding competition when he was
sixteen and has entered several shows per year since
then. Aside from bodybuilding Joel is going to school at
the University of Central Florida studying for
accounting. His contest history includes the 2008 NPC
Georgia (3rd place Teen Light-Heavy), 2009 INBA
Southeastern USA (1st place Teen), 2009 INBA Team USA
(3rd place Teen), 2009 NPC Florida Gold Cup (2nd place
Teen), 2010 NPC West Palm Beach (1st place Teen), 2010
NPC Southern States (3rd place Teen Heavy), 2011 NPC
Southern States (2nd place Teen Heavy), and 2011 NPC
Teen Nationals (5th place Teen Light-Heavy). Joel trains
with his brother Josh. We met Joel and his brother at
the 2011 NPC Southern States contest, and photographed
them at the Teen Nationals in Pittsburgh. We are very
