Eric Snyder is a 23 year old bodybuilder from Ohio. Not so long ago, Eric stood
before a full-size mirror and stared at a rail-thin 155-pound reflection of his
body. But these days a chiseled and muscular image appears before his eyes. A
decision a few years back to start lifting weights to gain some strength and size
quickly turned into a new passion Eric won 1st Place and Overall at his first
competition, the 2010 Novice Michigan Bodybuilding Championships. We met Eric when
we attended the 2010 Arnold Expo in Columbus just before that show, and caught up
with him and photographed Eric when he competed in his 2nd show, the 2010 NPC
Pittsburgh Championships. Eric is 5'10" tall and weighs between 170 and 190 lbs.,
sports beefy 17" biceps and a 44" chest, a 31" waist, 23" thighs and 15" calves.
Eric is a great looking bodybuilder who could easily find a career in fitness
modeling. Bodybuilding started out mainly as a hobby and Eric never had the idea
of becoming a bodybuilder. Besides having plans to help others get in better shape,
Eric wants to keep getting better as a bodybuilder and plans to continue competing.
Eric would eventually like to go professional up to IFBB level and get some sponsors.
He attends college, originally with plans to major in engineering. However, his new
interest in bodybuildiing has led to him an associate's degree in applied sciences
and dietetic technology. Not only does he train in a gym five days a week for at
least two hours a day, he also works in the health field in food and nutrition. We
